Good news for all TP Alumni!
Makeover for YES!Startup! It’s never too OLD to be your own boss
The Young Entrepreneurship Scheme for Startups (YES!Startups) has been replaced by ACE Startups. Under the new scheme, the age cap of 26 is removed and you are never too old to be your own boss as long as you have never started any business before.
Other key changes include the revision in funding ratio which is now 7:3 (SPRING/Student) and the evaluation criteria. For a maximum grant of $50,000, the startup will have to provide $21,429 (option available to pay in tranches); In terms of evaluation criteria, amongst other things, the business proposal will now be judged based on product differentiation versus innovation in the past. Which means startups that are strong in product differentiation that can create a new path in the market will now stand a higher chance of getting selected.
If you have a sound business proposal and have never started any business before, wait no more, apply for ACE Startups now! You may email to entrepreneurship@tp.edu.sg to make an appointment.
